Join us Saturday, November 7th, 2026, for our 2nd Annual Unlock the Vault: A Mystery Bottle Event, when we’ll pull hundreds of cask-strength specialty releases out of the vault and give event attendees a chance to take home something truly unique.

Festivities start at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7th, with food trucks, music, bottle signing and bottle share — and best of all, a chance to take home a good pour.

 

How does a mystery bottle event work?

Here’s what you can expect at our mystery bottle event:

  1. We’ll put out 200 bottles of limited-release spirits. They’ll be covered, making the whiskey or bourbon underneath a mystery to attendees.
  2. We’ll draw a lottery ticket for each bottle. The ticket holder chooses a “mystery” bottle and reveals the spirit. They have the option to buy that bottle at MSRP or pass.
  3. Passed bottles are available to anyone whose lottery ticket is drawn afterwards. The ticket holder can choose from any uncovered bottles or select a mystery bottle. We’ll draw lottery tickets until every bottle is sold.
  4. Each event Vault Pass  includes two lottery tickets. Attendees may purchase up to three more lottery tickets at the event.

FAQs

Does everyone attending need a Vault Pass? Yes, each event attendee over 21 years old must have their own event Vault Pass. A Vault Pass is $15 and includes two lottery tickets for the mystery bottle lottery drawing.

Can guest under 21 attend? Yes. Guests under 21 may attend the event with an adult and do not need a Vault Pass. However, guests under 21 may not purchase or consume alcohol, participate in the mystery bottle lottery, or purchase lottery tickets.

How many Vault Passes can an individual buy? You may purchase up to four (4)  Vault Passes if you are purchasing them for multiple attendees. Each attendee may have only one (1) Vault Pass. Every person attending the event must have their own Vault Pass, and each Vault Pass includes two lottery tickets.

How many lottery tickets can I buy? Vault Pass holders have the option to buy an additional three (3) lottery tickets at the event, giving each attendee over 21 years of age a total of five (5) lottery tickets.

With 5 lottery tickets, that means I can win 5 times and buy 5 bottles of 13th Colony limited-edition spirits during the lottery? Winners are limited to two (2) bottles. We want to give as many people as we can an opportunity to take home something special from the lottery. Our distillery store will be open, and our everyday pours and current limited releases will be available for purchase.

Can I attend the Unlock the Vault event without a Vault Pass, just to enjoy the atmosphere? Unfortunately, no. A Vault Pass is required by anyone 21 years of age and older to enter the event.
