Hazmat Single Barrel Drops A Case A Day

13th Colony Distilleries is bottling one of its last original corn whiskey barrels for this year’s Hazmat Southern Whiskey single-barrel distillery-only release, and they’re making it easier for fans to get their hands on one of the 90 bottles with a case-a-day distribution schedule.

The distillery’s Southern Corn Whiskey is 100% corn, 149.84 proof, and aged 12 years and 7 months in the distillery’s South Georgia rickhouse, where the perfect climate works its aging magic.

Beginning December 2nd, the distillery will release one case (or six bottles) each day for 15 days at the distillery Tasting Room during normal distillery operating days and hours. The goal is to give more people the opportunity to enjoy this rare bottle and avoid the long lines that typically form on a single release date.

Hazmat Southern Whiskey retails at $250 per bottle with a limit of one bottle per person. Release dates are:

• December 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th
• December 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th
• December 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th 

Distillery hours are Tuesday-Friday noon – 5 p.m and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visitors to 13th Colony in Americus, Georgia, can enjoy guided tastings in the Tasting Room or go behind the scenes to sample whiskeys directly from the barrel, then bottle their own with a custom label. The distillery is closed Sundays and Mondays and will be closed during the Christmas holidays.
