Our master distiller tastes every barrel of our whiskey to make sure it meets our high flavor standards, blending 4-, 5-, and 6-year-old barrels into each batch for a perfect balance of flavor. So, you won’t see age statements on our Southern Rye Whiskey, because we age to taste, not just to time.
The smell of cinnamon, clove, and vanilla beans translates into a taste of white cake batter and hot chocolate, fresh cannoli shells, rye bread, and maple sugar crystals. Intense rye spice quiets down quickly before the palate enjoys some late herbal notes of thyme and honeysuckle.
